| Lenten Series 2006: The 2006 Lenten Series will feature the program “From Jesus to Christ: the First Christians” as broadcast on PBS. This program analyzes the early growth of the fledgling faith based upon the life, death and resurrection of an itinerant Galilean preacher and miracle worker named Jesus. The companion book, From Jesus to Christ by Paula Fredericksen, will assist our viewing of the programs and enliven our discussion of the material. The Lenten Series will meet on Tuesday evenings in the parish hall starting with a simple communal meal of soup and bread commencing on March 7, 2006, at 6:30 p.m., and we will gather for four Tuesday evenings from March 7 through March 28 at the same bat time (6:30 p.m.) and at the same bat channel (the parish hall). If you have any questions, or if you’d like to volunteer to provide the meal for one of our gatherings, please contact Shawn at church, or at 631-8548. St. Luke’s Annual Women’s Day of Renewal.
