Johnson County Interfaith Justice Organization
Friday August 27th at 6 p.m.
Dear Members of St. Luke’s
The Diocese and St. Luke's Shawnee has been involved over the past year in sponsoring the creation of a new ministry in our community called the Johnson County Interfaith Justice Organization.
Within the Johnson County organization, dozens of congregations will collaborate to build a collective voice to advocate for broad-scale improvements to local systems on behalf of the most vulnerable in Johnson County.
Similar justice organizations are thriving in Shawnee and Douglas Counties, where people of faith have championed and established transformative solutions in areas such as public transit, affordable housing, mental healthcare, and restorative justice.
Come learn more about how you can be a justice-seeker at St. Luke's through this ministry!
We are hosting an information session on August 27 at 7:00, with presentations from Aileen Ball and McKenna Parker, community organizers with Johnson County Interfaith Justice Organization.
Sign up to participate by Wednesday 25th of August. RSVP to Parish Secretary email@example.com
Fr. Jonathan Brice, Christy Keller.
