Organ Dedication Concert
Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 2 p.m.
Everyone is invited to attend the Organ Dedication Ceremony Concert for the new Rodgers Organ on Sunday October 13th at 2 p.m. here at St. Luke’s.
The new organ is an 89-rank 4-manual digital organ; and the largest ever, to date, fully digital organ, designed and built by Rodgers Organ Co. Hillsboro, OR. Custom-designed and built to St. Luke’s acoustic features throughout the nave. Installation, custom tuning, and voicing of the instrument by Rodgers Organ, Gerald Oehring and Associates, Lincoln, NE.
The organ was donated to St. Luke’s in memory of all of the many musicians in the Fowler Family; and in memory of Jeremy Fowler.
The concert will include performances by Dr. Jacob Hofeling, Dean of The Kansas City Chapter of The American Guild of Organists, and former Music Director, St. Luke’s Church.
Please plan to stay after for a reception in the Parish Hall.
