This month Gallery at the Luke is pleased to welcome artist and photographer Jim Darnell.
Jim is sharing a lifetime of photographs from his own personal collection. The photographs exhibited are almost exclusively focused on his and Debra’s mission trips from around the world. Please take a moment and view his wonderful photographs and remember everything we can do to help others in this world. The exhibit will run for the rest of February and into the first weeks of March. For further information, or to schedule a visit during the week you may contact the Parish Secretary, Melissa P. at the office email. All works are on loan from Jim Darnell’s private collection and are not for sale. |
The art gallery began in 2016 when a group of artists at St. Luke's Church came together to display their work. Since then the gallery has grown to include local artists. Each month an artist creates a show, and often times, sponsors an Open House for the public. The media has varied to include collage, photography, quilts, jewelry, pencil, pastel, watercolor and oil. We are particularly interested in new artists who have never had a solo show entirely of their own work.
In addition, we hold several Paint & Wine Parties throughout the year to encourage budding artists and those who profess to have no ability to pick up a paint brush. For information about the shows follow us on facebook. All are welcome. |
