Good Faith Network - An Interfaith Justice Organization

Nehemiah Assembly
Tuesday, May 3rd  6 p.m.
Church of the Resurrection

1200+ people of faith from across Johnson County present local leaders with well-researched solutions to the community's most pressing problems and advocate for swift implementation.

St. Luke's and numerous other churches are working together to tackle inequality in Johnson County.  The watch party is a great way to become informed of their progress and the next steps to be taken.

Dear Members of St. Luke’s

The Diocese and St. Luke's Shawnee has been involved over the past year in sponsoring the creation of a new ministry in our community called the Johnson County Interfaith Justice Organization.

Our agenda for the Community Problems Assembly
  • Hear the results and testimonials from the listening process
  • Vote on our top two priorities for our first year
  • Vote on a permanent name for the organization
  • Adopt bylaws (text attached)
  • Elect executive officers (bios attached)
The issues to be considered
That evening we will vote on our top two priorities from among these four areas:
  • Mental health care
  • Homelessness
  • Affordable housing
  • Discrimination

Fr.  Jonathan Brice, Christy Keller.
